Hello! Teacher Matthew here, a teacher with seven years of experience across three countries! I have taught in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore and recently have been teaching online for my former students! In Singapore, I am proud to say that my students had 100% pass rate in the PSLE, with most achieving an A grade. I have recently completed my Post Graduate Certificate of Education International with the University of Nottingham and have a TEFL certificate. 

As a teacher ​I pride myself in my ability to communicate complex information to students in a way that is easy for them to understand and comprehend. I encourage collaborative learning in the classroom and value healthy group discussions to encourage all students to feel valued and achieve desired outcomes. I specialise in reading and creative writing courses, but have experience teaching history, which was my degree. 

Services

I offer a wide range of English and History classes and enjoy crossing over between the two. I am currently enjoying teaching the book 'Animal Farm' to my online students as well as creative writing courses. 

I have a lot of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language having taught in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. I have experience teaching exam preparation and technique from my time preparing students for the PSLE in Singapore.
