Hello, my name is Maureen and I've been teaching Mathematics in both state and private schools for the past 30 years. I am also a qualified Special Educational Needs Teacher. 

About Me

With over 30 years teaching in both the state and private sector, I have  the experience and the motivation to help people enjoy and succeed in this subject. Patience  and understanding  are needed to ensure that students achieve their potential and I have an abundance of these attributes! I have experience in both Primary and Secondary education, teaching basic numeracy, SATS, 11+, Maths ,13+ Maths  KS3 and GCSE Maths. In 2008 I completed the SPLD in Education and this gave me an insight into how educational needs (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia etc.) affect a student's ability in Maths and the strategies used to overcome them. I love learning myself and during lockdown I taught all my school's students using Microsoft Teams. Everybody should love learning!
