I get a huge amount of satisfaction from building students' confidence in mathematics and seeing them surpass their own expectations in exams. I build strong teacher-student relationships which lead to excellent progress and outcomes for pupils. Having worked in inner-city London schools for nine years has taught me the importance of communication and steady persistence when working with children.

About Me

I have taught mathematics in London secondary schools for nine years. Six years ago I began to tutor for a reputable tutoring agency in London and also privately. This year I have moved to Northumberland and am focussing on tutoring.

    We have had some excellent tutors over the years but somehow Maxim has managed to stand out amongst them. He sent a daunting questionnaire before he started and kept coming back until he got all his answers but we understand why from the first lesson. He is excellent at tutoring maths and enjoys it too, so does my son.
