I am a working-class woman from Doncaster, who managed to defy all of the odds and earn a place at Oxford University upon applying only once - with minimal support. I managed to do this despite attending a failing comprehensive (special measures Ofsted) from the ages of 11 till 18, and working long hours. Therefore, I am accustomed to hard work along with being extremely knowledgeable of various GCSE and A-Level mark schemes and requirements, as these were mainly self taught.
This also means that I am very well versed within the Oxbridge and general university admissions process, including knowledge of the HAT and other Oxbridge specific requirements. I also have had interaction with various private and public schools, therefore not only have relevant advice, but an understanding of what different schools offer.
