Hello, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated PGCE qualified maths and English tutor with over ten years experience of teaching a variety of primary and secondary school pupils (ages 4-16) to reach their potential. I specialise in teaching English up to GCSE level and maths up to KS3 as well as preparing children for the 11+ examinations. I have also taught abroad in Ghana, Africa and in Cambodia. This has shaped my creative teaching career and inspired me to teach online to new pupils also. I have been successful in raising attainment and achievement in schools through intervention and the pupils have progressed with increased confidence and capability. My masters level credits during my PGCE have enabled me to understand educational pedagogy and teaching the child holistically. I fully believe that if students are enjoying their learning, they will achieve the best results.
