About Me

My passion for Computer Science and Maths has led me to be an educator of these subjects. I aim to deliver a high level of learning in any scenario as a lead practitioner of Computer Science. I believe that every kid can attain coding and Computational skills that unlocks a wide range of routes in life and in further education.

I am a fully qualified teacher with experience in teaching in Key Stages 3-5. I have delivered courses from many examining bodies including AQA, OCR and Edexcel. This also includes courses such as Information Technology, Creative iMedia and Computer Science. I currently work in a Secondary school and in charge of leading the department where I believe I pass on the passion for Computer Science to all students I teach. This is done through allowing kids to be creative and explore all the cornerstones of Computer Science through the means of practical experiments and running clubs to engage and inspire young minds.

I am also currently tutoring and mentoring many students online to complete and achieve the best from the course that they are enrolled on.

I have been working in this sector for 5 years and progressed in the short space of time to become a leader in the department. I have worked in various settings across multiple schools with variety of socio-economic backgrounds and turned around classes where students were failing through adapting resources and supporting to all types of learners. My experience has allowed me to have a teaching which is more interactive, visually receptive, and relatable to the students than a normal curriculum.

I can help to meet your children's needs, by providing them with a tailored teaching programme. I can help your children gain confidence and new skills in coding and understanding the theory of Computer Science. I strongly believe knowledge is the actual power, therefore we should gain it and pass it to others.
