Dear Sir,Madam I am writing this letter as a personal reference for Ms Ruth . Ms Ruth gave private English lesson to my son (Ozan ). At first Ozan hesitated, he didn’t want to have a tutor help him. He didn’t like the idea that he needed extra help. But I saw that he was struggling with English and convinced him to take up tutoring. English was not Ozan’s best interest till he met Ms Ruth. Ozan’s target for English was C . Three months before his GCSE exams we met Ms Ruth and she met with him once in every week on hourly bases. As a result of Ms Ruth’s help Ozan got B in English in GCSE . Ms Ruth tutorials are ‘priceless’ to me, because not only has Ozan been successful, probably more important than his educational achievement, is that she developed his confidence in himself and his abilities. Ms Ruth has a strucutred way of teaching which is specially tailored to person and person’s abilty. Her confident speaking tone, the way of her explanation and approach makes learning easier. Ms Ruth is a very kind person and always willing to help and does the best she can. What Ozan says about Ms Ruth ; ‘’Ms Ruth is a great teacher.. Her teaching methods are amazing. She first explains the point and gives you tasks during the lesson then allow you to work independently in order to use the skills you have learnt in that lesson. A great point is that Ms Ruth never give you the answer, she’ll give you clues and ask you questions to make your way and encourages your own thinking way . Now, writing and reading is more enjoyable and interesting for me’’ Ozan is looking forward to work with her for his A level exams this year. Personaly, I am very pleased to know Ms Ruth and as a parent I am very pleased and delightfull her teaching impact on my son. Many thanks for all your hard work. Kind Regards P. Ozyazgan
