Since the pandemic I have experienced with both my own class and the children in my school where I am assistant Headteacher the need for children to catch up from the loss of learning. I am very aware of the need to develop fine motor skills, social and personal development skills and academic catch up. 

I have over 18 years of teaching experience, and was the leader of my school during the lockdown, setting up remote learning lessons and curriculum for my pupils. Because of this, I am proficient in online teaching and have an in-depth knowledge of the issues post-covid times. 

My lessons are between 60-90 minutes usually, depending on the subject, but are highly dynamic, flexible and adaptable to the learner. This personalized, growth-minded approach yields excellent results and very quickly develops confidence in my learners!

About Me

I started teaching in 2006, when I taught English in Korea for a year. This set in motion an exciting career from which I've never looked back! I worked in London as an EFL teacher until I qualified at Brunel to become a Primary School teacher. This was in 2008. 

Since then, I've taught in Thailand, Malaysia in outstanding international schools and inner London, where I currently serve as Assistant Headtacher and Year 5 teacher.
