I studied Economics, Chemistry, Spanish, Mathematics, English, and Mandarin Chinese in the International Baccalaureate, before gaining a place at the University of Oxford to read Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. After graduating, I completed a PGCE at the Institute of Education, UCL. After completing my teacher training, I worked as an A-level Economics teacher in East London for four years, during which time none of my students ever achieved less than a C grade. I also taught extra-curricular sessions on Philosophy and Politics, as well as guiding students through the university admissions process, especially those looking to apply to Oxford or Cambridge. This year, I am beginning an MSc Economics course at Birkbeck, University of London, but am looking to continue to teach by taking on a small number of tutees.
