Hi, I am a very patient, calm, friendly, qualified and experienced science teacher with a BSc (Honours) Natural Sciences Degree (Physics). My experience includes teaching Key Stage 3 Science, GCSE Science, A'Level Physics, BTEC Applied Science Level 2 and BTEC Applied Science Level 3 (Extended Diploma). 

I have 14 years classroom experience and have also worked closely with students with special educational needs.

I am skilled at identifying the particular obstacles that students experience in the classroom and can tailor tutoring to meet the individual needs of each student.

About Me

I find teaching extremely rewarding and stimulating. I am motivated by wanting to do my best for each student to enable them to overcome personal challenges and make science accessible to everyone. I am skilled at finding methods to enable students to access the curriculum, improve their confidence, attitude and achievements in exams. I have worked in three very different seconday schools as well as a sixth form college with students with a wide range of abilities. I use a variety of different teaching methods and adapt my teaching to meet the needs of the learner.
