Hi my name is Rasma and I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher, with experience teaching in KS1, KS2 and SEN pupils. 

My passion has always been about working with children and helping them to achieve their full potential. I completed an Education Studies degree from UCL, one of the top universities and completed my QTS a few years later. I began my teaching journey as a TA for two years, where I worked mainly with SEN and EAL pupils, providing 1:1, individualised support. This experience really helped me to understand how these pupils learn and what best supports them. Following this, I completed my teaching degree and worked in an outstanding primary school for a few years. 

I have extensive knowledge of the National Curriclum and I am fully aware what the expectations are for pupils at different age groups. 

I also have experience teaching Phonics.

I would initially start with a phone conversation with you and your child to assess their needs, what gaps they may have and what areas they will need support with. Once this is established, I can create a personlised plan to support your child's needs during the tutoring sessions.
