Hola, soy Rebeca. I am a native Spanish teacher from Madrid that has been living in England for almost twenty years. 

I have six years of experience doing private tuition for learners of a variety of different ages and ability levels. 

While there is a role for grammar and spelling, I believe passion and enthusiasm are the keys to gaining the initial confidence that is vital for success with a language. I aim to make sessions enjoyable and inspiring and take genuine pride in seeing my student’s progress

I hold a Masters degree with Distinction from the International University of Valencia (VIU) in The Teaching of Spanish as Foreign Language. I am an official examiner of diploma DELE of Spanish from Instituto Cervantes of Stockholm and I trained at Instituto Cervantes in London to develop methods of teaching for children to learn Spanish as a foreign language.  

About Me

Always I have had a lifelong passion for language. I speak good French having studied at a French school for over 14 years.  Many years ago, I decided it was time I learnt to speak English, so I packed my bags and travelled to the UK from my home city Madrid. Arriving without speaking a word of English I discovered that with determination and consistency it is never too late for anything in life.

I believe that the key to achieving results is working in a way that is tailored to the individual. Working with you to understand your requirements together we will identify simple goals that will help you achieve your objectives as quickly as possible. If you are able to work, to search, to explore independently with my guidance, then I will have reached my goal.

I help younger learners to prepare GCSE’s, A-levels, and International Baccalaureate and I also work with University students. 

Having spent many years practicing as a Lawyer in both England and Spain, it has given me the experience to assist those looking to study Spanish for business meetings and corporate events.
