I specialise in BTEC Sport, Public Services and Business with my primary subject focus being on Sports Coaching and Officiating, Sport in Society and Sports Development.  I am a dynamic and well humoured character with a very supportive nature and as you will see from my testimonials my learners particularly enjoy the support I give and the way I explain subjects in simplified terms.

About Me

I have been teaching since 1999 in various Further Education Institutions across the North West.  However I also have a wide industrial background in a variety of posts such as Professional Coach, Leisure Centre and Stadium Management, Sports Development and Events Management.

My career has included being a Lifeguard, an Assistant Coach of a National Representative Team, Coach of 2 National League Team's (Volleyball and Basketball), Manager of an Athletcis and Football Stadium and an Events Manager on the London 2012 Olympic Beach Volleyball competition.

I pride myself on my nability to relate to my learners and understand the barriers they may encounter when trying to understand or learn subjects.  During this recent Pandemic situation I have honed my already well rounded IT and Online Learning Skills and developed new and innovative approaches to helping students learn.  Previously I have developed websites for online learning.
