About Me

I have worked in local schools as an English teacher for 20+ years. I was a Principal teacher and then moved to work in an advisory capacity in my local authority. I now work for Education Scotland. I love teaching English and have honed the skills required to make English accessible. My results in tutoring are excellent. It's lovely to see the penny drop with students. I am a marker for the SQA exams in both National 5 and Higher. 

Services

I offer online tutoring only. I can do this via Google Meet or Teams. 
 

I have tutored for over 10 years and offer bespoke tutoring for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. 
 

I have experience working with pupils who lack confidence and / or struggle with additional support needs. 
I am happy to meet in person before we agree a session and will keep in contact with weekly updates.
