A highly, enthusiastic and dedicated tutor

I have over 10 years of teaching/tutoring experience combined. I had been teaching online for over 1 year now and been achieving great results. I have an excellent record of pupils who get top exam results. Most of my pupils had gone on to the universities/colleges of their choice and continued to do very well.  My pupils considered me as their mentor who always support them and encourage them to be confident in tackling on challenging Maths questions and not afraid to make mistakes.   I have a degree in Mathematics ( with Finance) with first class honours, Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Maths and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

Services

I teach Maths on the following: Primary, KS3, GCSE, 11+Entrance Exams, A Levels. Exam boards: mainly Edexcel.  I believe that there are various approaches to a problem and each pupil has his/her own unique style. I am flexible in taking that approach to suit my pupils` needs so as to sort out any misconceptions. I do one to one teaching which to me means tuition is bespoke, catered mainly to suit the pupils` needs. My students enjoy online tutoring; I see it as highly efficient and it also enables all pupils to access our lesson' notes after tuition.


I have been using online platform to teach Maths - a virtual whiteboard while communicating to
my students via Skype or Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I  prepare my lesson on the whiteboard and
and will go through each page while explaining the concepts and ensuring they understand using
various forms of assessment - questioning/ working out progressive questions/ highlighting
any misconceptions. I would be writing on the board and would have my students as well
showing me their work. My students find the lessons engaging and informative. After a short period of time, they become confident in tackling challenging Maths questions and not afraid to make mistakes.
