Hi, my name is Rudra Kamat. I am currently a masters student at King's College London studying theoretical physics with an undergraduate degree from Cornell University, USA in mathematical physics.
I love maths and physics and really enjoy teaching it. Having struggled with math especially, as a kid, I understand the value of a good teacher who can adapt their teaching style to better suit the student because all students think differently. I believe that anyone, with the right guidance, can succeed at maths and learn to appreciate it, be it through the wonder of geometry or the precision of logic.
I have always enjoyed helping people and share my love of mathematics with enthusiastic students, always striving to learn outside the confines of the academic curriculum.
I have extensive experience in tutoring, having served at the Math Support Centre (MSC) at Cornell, teaching the undergraduates of my alma mater topics such as Analysis and Calculus. I have also worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant in physics courses and a grader in math courses, giving me a great idea of how academia operates when it comes to grading and writing exams.
I have a math YouTube channel that I have been actively teaching on since 2020 that continues to help the community throughout the world from topics such as spring block oscillators to Riemann Zeta functions.
I have much to offer in terms of understanding concepts and solving problems, tailoring my teaching method for each tutee. I have a strong mastery in, but not limited to, topics such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, Electromagentism
For all of your intents and purposes, I am certain to help you learn something new, be it a computational trick or perspective.
