My name is Sam (also known as Mr Lonsdale!). I am currently working full time as Primary School Teacher, in an OFSTED rated "good" school, where I teach a large class of Year 5 children. I have a wide array of exereince, having just returned from the Middle East where I was employed as a humantities teacher in a Secondary School! However whilst I enjoyed the epereince my true passion is Primary School teaching, where I can teach the whole curriculum!

About Me

I am an experienced tutor and teacher with a varied background that is strong in both the humanities and sciences. I have a degree in Architecture and subsequently worked in the field for several years before making the change to education. I now gain great satisfaction from seeing my students grow and devlop a love of learning and thrive on seeing the progress they make.

Due to my wide array of teaching expereince I feel confident in abilities to offer high quality, affordable tuition to students ranging from KS1 through toKS2 (all saubjects) or beyond in my specialisms in History, Geography and English.

I am based in the South Manchester area, or alternatively can offer distance tutoring via Zoom/Skype or any other technological means.
