Part-time airline pilot with strong academic background and appreciation for mathematics keen to assist students in their studies.
95% (A*) average in A level mathematics and graduate from the University of Surrey, with 1st Class Master`s in Aerospace Engineering - particularly useful for anyone studying A Level Mechanics modules.
Originally from Plymouth and now living in Horsham, I am currently a part-time airline pilot having previously studied aerospace engineering at the University of Surrey.
Having particularly enjoyed the mathematical aspects of engineering I did some tutoring work in the year after I left university, which was very rewarding. I took a break from tutoring to complete the pilot training course but I am now looking to resume.
GCSE and A level maths tutoring
Free introduction session used to learn the student's expectations. It's useful to find out how they feel about the subject why they might be struggling and pin pointing any particular areas it would be best to focus on. We can use this to develop a tutoring plan and ensure the tutoring sessions are as effective as possible.
