I am a retired teacher of modern languages with many years experience of preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations.

I also have a great deal of experience of one to one tuition, both face to face and online. I enjoy helping students at all levels to achieve their full potential. 

About Me

I have an honours degree in French with subsidiary German from Royal Holloway College, London University. I spent the third year of my degree course in Avignon,France, working in a school as an English language assistant, which gave me my first taste of teaching.

I studied for my PGCE at Cambridge University, and subsequently taught languages in both state and private sector in Gloucestershire, both at secondary and primary level, for many years. I was Head of French when I retired, with full responsibility for preparing pupils for examinations. In addition I have taken on many private pupils, and taught on A Level revision courses in France.
