Fun, friendly and experienced with KS1-5, I give clear explanations, offer resources and activites to match the learner's needs and have a wealth of strategies from my 30 years in the classroom to draw on. As well as teaching skills, I believe that a tutor's role is to build learner confidence, alongside their ability to question and approach learning with curiosity and interest.

I love helping students achieve their best, seeing them grow in confidence and creating ways to help them fulfil their potential.

An experienced theatre director-maker-performer, workshop facilitator and developer of the 'Confident Children' project, I regularly perform (or used to before Covid). During Lockdown, I've loved developing Family Playtime as an online programme. Now an 'expert' in Zoom, I've led creative projects, taught clowning (yes, clowning!), directed a show and taught English as a Foreign Language all on Zoom whilst also becoming a part-time shepherdess since March!

I believe through play, we can develop self-esteem and a willingness to explore with greater confidence.
