Hello,

I am an experienced Primary school teacher with extensive core subject knowledge.  My online pupils have improved on average by 40%  against past SATs paper tests in a 10 week period.  As a senior leader across three primary schools, I trained developing teachers, newly qualified teachers, teaching assistants and of course pupils in both Key stage 1 and Key stage 2.  The majority of my experience is in working with year 6 pupils, filling any gaps in their knowledge and then developing this knowledge so that they are comfortable, confident and able to achieve in their end of school assessments.  I love learning and look to make lessons that are engaging, interactive, fun and purposeful.  I believe that people should understand what they are learning, how it is relevant in the real world and why it is useful.  I really enjoy running and producing intensive 4 - 10 session courses for quick results for individual pupils or small groups.  I have worked with a range of learning styles and believe very strongly that teaching should be adapted to the learner.  I would love to be able to help you.

Thank you for your time smiley,

Sincerely,

Sarah

“Sarah is an excellent teacher, and has managed to ‘unlock’ maths for our daughter. She has patiently built up Neve’s confidence over several weeks and has provided the one to one support that she wasn’t getting at school. Rather than sinking further behind, I am confident that upon her return to school Neve will be where she should be. This is all down to Sarah who has gone beyond delivering the curriculum and worked to build up Neve’s confidence and communication skills. We will keep up the tuition with Sarah when schools go back, I think that it is going to be advantageous long term. Class sizes can be large, and young children can easily get left behind. I wasn’t sure how the tuition would work well online, but the delivery has been flawless. I would go so far as to say that for us, it is preferable to traditional tutoring in person. Thanks Sarah, your work with Neve has been invaluable.”

"One of the biggest stresses for me during this lock down, was worrying whether my daughter Mila would slip behind in her studies, whiIst trying to botch together a learning path that stuck to the curriculum whilst holding down a full time job. Primarylearningonline has been a life line, such relief in knowing that Mila is, not only building in confidence around her core subjects, but setting her up for success to make her return to school seamless and a lot less daunting. I would not be surprised if she is ahead of the class in regards to learning for her age, as she really has progressed so much under Sarah's tutoring. Sarah uses a clever mix of technology and interactive learning to assess and progress her pupils, making it fun and engaging. Mila really looks forward to her classes, there is no hassle in getting her to attend unlike Mum's school of home learning! Before lockdown I was considering sending her to after school Maths and English clubs, logistically this would have been challenging with my work commitments. Remote tutoring has worked so well, I wouldn’t even consider sending her anywhere else now. Thank you Sarah for progressing Mila's maths skills and for giving me much needed peace of mind!"
