I am a qualified teacher who has achieved a PGDipEd in Secondary Science teaching. I have achieved QTS (qualified teacher status) through this course and have also completed my NQT (newly qualified teacher) year.

I have experience teaching all three sciences at a secondary level (yrs 7-11) as well as experience teaching chemistry to sixth formers and at a college at A-level. I also have experience tutoring AS chemistry, physics, and biology at AS level.

My degree subject was chemistry, but I have completed A-levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

I have experience teaching high-achieving students as well as lower set students and some experience with students with SEND. 

About Me

I believe all students should be treated as individuals and when teaching in the classroom I strived to try and incorporate all students learning methods. However, the reality is that all students learn differently, so education should be personal to them.

It is for this reason that no student I tutor will be taught the same. I teach with patience, empathy, and compassion; and I believe any student can do well, despite past difficulties.
