Hello!
My name is Tiya.
I am currently a supply teacher working in various schools in my local area; but while schools are closed for the majority during lockdown, I am happy to help children with their learning, whether it's catching up or staying on top of their work.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping students gain confidence in areas they may be finding challenging. I am patient, creative and motivated to see students develop and progress in their learning.
I strongly believe that all children are unique, and I am committed to developing a relationship with your child in order to understand and tailor learning to their needs, in hope of reaching their greatest potential.

I completed my PGCE specialising in Early Years and Key Stage 1. On the course I had the opportunity of learning theory from experienced lecturers, as well as developing my skills practically in a classroom setting during the periods that I was on placement.
I achieved a degree in Psychology with Sociology. In this course I gained scientific insight into understanding human behaviour. One of the modules I thoroughly enjoyed was Child Development; this is where my growing interest stemmed for working with children.
