Hello! My name is Tracy and I have a passion for educating children. I am a warm, friendly, dedicated tutor with over a decade of experience in teaching and tutoring. At our initial 10 minute meeting, I chat informally to my students to build a positive relationship, making sure my students feel as comfortable as possible before our first session. In our first session, I will make necessary assessments to understand the learning style of my students so I can meet all of their needs and plan engaging sessions that promote rapid progress.

I achieved a first class honours degree in Primary Education whilst studying a four year degree at Sunderland University. From this degree, I became a teacher and hold my QTS. In my previous teaching role, I was the head of the English department for several years and have up-to-date training on the latest classroom practise. I have also been a writing moderator for the local authority for 5 consecutive years. In order to become a tutor, I also completed the relevant tutoring course with the National Tutoring Program.
