About Me


Experience:

  • Four years tutoring experience with other popular platforms (such as The Brilliant Club, MyTutor) and privately, covering a range of subjects, group sizes and environments. I received positive teaching assessment feedback from The Brilliant Club for my student engagement and interactivity.
  • Experience with in-person Biology/Biochemistry teaching laboratory lessons with short group seminars and online workshops.
  • I have also supervised undergraduate and Masters research projects during 6-month periods.


Exam Boards:

  • Familiarity with the differences in content and examination of all main exam boards: AQA, OCR A/B, Edexcel (and iGCSE).
  • For degree level teaching, content and exams are determined by the university however my knowledge of multiple university content and exam approaches will be used in my teaching.


Academic Qualifications:

  • Ph.D in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/Structural Microbiology): 4.5 years of professional laboratory and bioinformatic research.
  • Four year undergraduate Masters in Biochemistry.


Teaching Qualifications:

  • Associate Fellowship in the Higher Agency: Planning lessons and lectures, adapting my teaching to a range of audiences and receive/provide constructive feedback on teaching.
