I am a PhD candidate at Bangor Univeristy in International Climate Change Law and the Law of the Sea. I was born in Mauritius, where I pursued French education till I obtain my baccalureate in 2015. My mother tongue is French but I have always had a good knowledge of English due to my father's influence. My english was reinforced after I started my baccalaureate and spent an exclusive three months to obtain a certification to prove that my level of English makes me bilingual. I have a bachelor degree in Law (LLB) from Aberystwyth University and a master (LLM) in the Law of the Sea from Bangor University obatined in 2020 with distinction.

After my LLB, I worked for 6 months as an after-school tutor in Mauritius for kids from the age of 7 to young adults age 19. I was helping some of them with homeworks, but was mostly tutoring for French (French high-school level), European and French Law, Marketing and also English. I had a student that was home-schooled and was preparing his baccalureate in law - that I have tutored and taught law for 6 months before I left to start my LLM at Bangor University. 

I am also gaining experience at University level, as I have been empolyed by Bangor University to be a tutoring assistant for England and Wales Legal Systems to undergraduate. 

I enjoy tutoring and teaching to people, my main goal is to start a PGCert next year to earn the qualifications necessary to become a professor at the end of my PhD. I love exchanging with students and consequently learning from these exchanges.
