I am a very well-qualified and experienced specialist German teacher. I have been teaching for more than 30 years and have helped numerous students to gain great results in their German A level and GSCE exams. I have worked in secondary schools and colleges of further education as a German specialist and now I offer tailor-made courses for students who want to improve their grades for German GCSE and A level. Having lived and worked in Berlin, Frankfurt and Dresden for more than seven years, I am also completely fluent in German.

About Me

I have a BA (Hons) in German, a PGCE (qualified teacher status) and an MEd in Applied Linguistics. I have lived and worked a teacher and translator in Germany and am completely fluent in the language. I have taught German at all levels from beginners to A level - both to adults and school pupils with a great deal of success. I have now retired from mainstream teacher and work as a private online German teacher. I specialise in teaching GCSE and A level German as these are the two areas that I very much enjoy teaching and having lived in what used to be East Germany, I can provide a great deal of first hand background material for the A level set texts and films.
