I am a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, from north mainland China. I am an active and open mind teacher for students. The experience of teaching in the UK has made me familiar with the teaching system, culture difference as well as the philosophy of education of this country. Children like me and I like to work with them, it was always a good time to spend time with them, makes me happy.
I have worked with primary and secondary schools for more than two years in East Yorkshire, UK. I teach primary and secondary pupils singing Chinese songs (in order to teach them Mandarin Chinese), Chinese cultures and so on. I am currently reading my PhD at the University of Hull. Before I start my PhD, I have worked in a college in Tianjin, China for five years as a music teacher as well as an administrator. Then I work as a volunteer teacher with Confucius Institute at the University of Hull for 10 months in 2017-2018. During that time, I taught College students and adults mandarin Chinese, as well as design the activities about Chinese cultures, holidays, making dumplings, etc.
I am currently reading my PhD at University of Hull, researching about teaching language through choral singing.
I can provide mandarin teaching as well as Chinese culture teaching.
Chinese instrument introduction, Chinese folk songs teaching.
